Thoughts on Primary Grade Homework
What is the appropriate amount of homework for students aged seven and below?

The habits we teach children from the beginning of their education will be the habits they carry with them for the next twelve years, right? Homework is the ultimate teacher of discipline, training young minds to develop time management, focus, hard work, organization, and responsibility.
But at what age does this become true? Will first and second graders, even kindergartners, benefit in the long run from learning the discipline of completing regular homework assignments? Surely some will, and others will not. So what is the appropriate balance?
