Life Science: Ecosystems and the Flow of Energy

Collector: Alex H.

Different ecosystems thrive in various places, with a variety of habitats, including specific plants and animals that have adapted to survive in those specific conditions. But they all have one thing in common: all of the energy that living organisms need originates from the sun. Plants use the sun's energy to grow; animals eat the plants; and humans eat the animals. This is just one example that represents the flow of energy in an ecosystem. Here is a collection of videos that describes how energy is passed along from one living thing to the next, and how plants and animals are interconnected through various paths.

Note: The videos are listed in the order then are meant for viewing.
