STEM Ed Hub: Design Resources

Collector: Ann V.

Engineering design-based activities make learning science fun. Young engineers design dams, lifeguard chairs, musical instruments, candy bags, and much more. They also use measurement skills to solve the mystery of the missing pin. Each lesson includes background information and a list of needed materials. The 32 resources in the Science Learning through Engineering Design (SLED) collection target grades 3-6 but can be adapted for other grades as well.
