Social-Awareness is about perspective and showing empathy. Students need modeling of these skills in order to learn: 

• Perspective-Taking

• Empathy

• Appreciating Diversity

• Respect for Others

There are some great tips for getting students to think about others by asking "how might you feel" in this situation.
