Student Engagement: Student Connections

Helping students feel connected to you and other students when learning in a remote environment can be challenging. There are some ways to help them connect. Here are some ideas:

• Select a Student of the Day - this student can share pictures, hobbies, and share their favorites
• Create a fun channel - this can be a place where you share fun ideas for students and parents to engage in throughout the week (i.e. cooking challenges, legos, activities and more)
• Provide a safe place for students to connect together online for "recess" or "lunch"
