Eternal Egypt: Naos of Ramesses the Second
The naos, or shrine, was found as part of a pair that stood in the great Temple of Amun-Re in Tanis. It is carved both inside and out in sunk relief with scenes of Ramesses the Second making offerings to the gods of Heliopolis.
