1880's Newfoundland: A Pictorial

Curated by ACT

This resource is a photographic album of sites around Newfoundland in the 1880s. It was originally the property of Joseph Laurence who was a schoolmaster in England. He was a strong supporter of the Methodist Church and many of his students went to Newfoundland to work as missionaries and teachers. In gratitude, the church there compiled this album for him.
