Help scholars identify shapes more thoroughly by counting their attributes. They examine eight 2-dimensional shapes, recording the number of sides and corners for each writing the name. Consider creating a class poster together before or after you hand this out: set it up as a grid with sides on one axis and corners on the other. Then, label the grid with familiar shapes based on the number for each attribute. For example, a triangle might be 3,3. There is one example to get learners started.
