Who is the al Qaeda and what happened on September 11? Older students will explore the political objectives of al Qaeda and possible reasons for the September 11 terrorist attacks by watching a video program and working through evidence they will write a letter to teenagers fifty years from now about this time period. Note: this activity assumes that the students remember what happened at that time, however many parts can still be used.
