In this income and savings lesson, students read A Gift for Mama and answer discussion questions for it. Students define the terms income, spending, and savings. Students work in pairs to define their short term goals and find common goals. Students then illustrate the story of Sara's shot term savings goals in a booklet as well as their own savings goals.
