There are 20 vertically aligned equations here, each with one three-digit addend and one two-digit addend. Scholars regroup as necessary and record their answer in a shaded box. None of these add up to a four-digit number. Once they finish, there is a more challenging section with 10 money math equations where scholars bring decimal points down into their sums.
