Advanced Phonics Redux Fluency

First graders review various advanced phonics words by playing a game. In this advanced phonics lesson, 1st graders read through a stack of word cards, they build fluency by identifying letters in words that get doubled and letters that stay silent. Students then examine words with apostrophes and short compound words.
