Students witness a flood demonstration, offering hypotheses and observations throughout the demonstration. Students discuss flood prevention techniques and examine the impact of the devastating flood and mudslides in Venezuela. In small groups, students investigate different flood prevention techniques and create models based on their research that demonstrate how their techniques work.
