These activities will allow learners to expand their horizons by experiencing an important holiday to Spanish speaking cultures. With this project and assignment the students will learn the purpose behind Day of the Dead, how it is celebrated, which Spanish speaking culture celebrates it versus others, and what it means to the culture.
