The instructional activity will explore counting, sorting, and graphing skills. The instructional activity provides learners an exciting and fun way of exploring and internalizing graphing, sorting, and counting skills. Realistically, the students will discover what color jelly bean is contained more often than any other color in a standard bag of jelly beans. Moreover, learners will be investigating probability. This lesson plan was created as a result of the Girls Engaged in Math and Science, GEMS Project funded by the Malone Family Foundation.
