Students will be introduced to the Library of Congress Classification System by viewing two online tutorials. The students will make flash cards in order to study the main classes of the Library of Congress Classification System. The students will practice sequencing call numbers in the order in which they are arranged on the shelf. Students will refer to the call number to locate a specific book in a university library.
