Middle schoolers will participate in an activity that will help them obtain a feeling of how numbers are related to each other. They will determine whether a number is rational or irrational. Students will also be able to order rational and irrational numbers on a number line.This lesson plan was created as a result of the Girls Engaged in Math and Science, GEMS Project funded by the Malone Family Foundation.
