Lesson Plan

Alex: Spotting Sounds All Around

Curated by ACT

This is both a hands-on and technology based lesson where students can apply their knowledge of letter/sound relationships while incorporating the use of classroom technology. This Language Arts activity will allow for the students to work with a partner to find objects in the classroom that begin with the initial sounds of selected letters of the alphabet. The partners will use the classroom digital camera to photograph each of the items. The images will then be downloaded to the classroom computer to create a class Power Point presentation about letter/sound relationships.
