What pieces of art have your learners studied so far? You'd certainly know if they had been using a record sheet! Each record page is reserved for one artist, and pupils can write in painting names and related information. Also included are pages reserved for information on individual works of art that have space for an image and notes.

Instructional Ideas
- Create little art study notebooks for your class by copying your chosen record sheet and notes page several times
- Scaffold the notes pages by providing sentence frames for talking about art or writing some sentence starters on the page before making copies
Classroom Considerations
- Since the record page does say Painting Title, the use of the record sheet is a bit narrowed; however, you can have students scratch out the word painting and use the record sheets for any type of art
Pros

- Three versions of the notes page are included with different sizes and styles of lines for writing
