There are five shapes for scholars to identify: rectangle, circle, square, trapezoid, and triangle. Although there isn't much here, consider projecting this as an all-class warm up. Ask kids to verbalize attributes of each shape before naming them. There is an explanation that gives some guidance with shape attributes; use it if you need it, but don't show it to learners as it will likely cause confusion.
