Baseball Saved Us Teacher’s Guide

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

Students read the book "Baseball Saved Us" and respond to the story through writing activities. In this reading instructional activity, students create a chart of events  which they predict will take place in the story. Students then use their chart as a basis for a written response. Students use a response journal during the reading to answer specific questions. Students are motivated to illustrate events in the story and discuss their significance with another student.
