ACT
The learners begin with sharing their attributes. The students then work on their family diary, which is a home/school connection. Learners will then learn about their city and state. Students will draw a map of their community first and then build it using recycled boxes, construction paper, scissors, and a variety of art materials. Each group will present their community at a ribbon cutting ceremony where parents, community members, and administration will be invited.
