Students learn about butterflies through books and observation in a butterfly pavilion. In this butterfly pavilion instructional activity, students use hand lenses to observe the metamorphosis of the butterfly and record in their journals. Students feed the butterflies once they've hatched and let them go. Students write about what they think happened to the butterflies after they fly away.
