In this narrative instructional activity, students think critically about the interaction between Native peoples and the settlers to understand the cultural beliefs held by both sides. After reviewing narratives, students can write an article for a colonial newspaper about the capture and restoration, or they may organize a town council meeting between captors and the settlers involved.
