Pupils demonstrate the meaning of self-esteem and individuality. In this character education lesson, students discuss the meaning of self-esteem and self-image. Pupils are divided into small groups and are shown photographs of individuals. Students study the photographs and discuss the stereotypes that the images portray. As an extension activity, pupils host a Special Olympics awareness week.
