[Free Registration/Login may be required to access all resource tools.] The following online tutorial describes how a gas can be compressed and identifies three factors that affect gas pressure. Students will describe the effects according to the kinetic-molecular theory and explain Avogadro's hypothesis and how it relates to the volume of a gas at standard temperature and pressure. Students will also convert between moles and volume of a gas at STP and calculate the density of gases at STP.
