[Free Registration/Login may be required to access all resource tools.] In the following online tutorial students wil begin to analyze a chemical reaction in order to determine which reactant is the limiting reactant and which is the excess reactant. They will calculate the amount of excess reactant remaining after a reaction is complete as well as the theoretical yield of a reaction when the available amounts of each reactant are known. Lastly, students will learn to calculate the percent yield of a reaction based on the theoretical and actual yields.
