Before handing out this number-value worksheet make sure you explain all directions clearly, as they may throw some students for a loop! Using starting numbers in a table, they first shade in all boxes with numbers smaller than that starting value. On the next chart (and this is the confusing one) they shade in numbers larger than the starter and, if a number is equal to it, shade in both that one and the starter number. Whew! There are 10 starter numbers. Determine for yourself if the objective is too shrouded in directions for your class to benefit from it.
