Concord Consortium: Stem Resources: Chemical Reactions

This web-based activity gives students an opportunity to write chemical reactions, balance chemical equations, and explain what is happening during a given chemical reaction. Also addressed is the effects of concentration and temperature on reaction rate, limiting reactants, and classification of chemical reactions. Multiple-choice and short answer questions are found interspersed with interactive media and short text. Teachers have the opportunity to register, granting them access to students' progress, pre- and post-tests, and a full teacher guide/ answer key.
