Almost as soon as the Cold War ended, another war began. The First Persian Gulf stemmed from the Iraqi invasion and occupation of Kuwait and the threat that posed to other Persian Gulf states and the countries throughout the world that relied on that region for oil. This is a great resource for Elementary teachers, however, it may be too difficult for elementary students to understand.
