Young scholars examine cultural differences in picture books. In this cultural diversity instructional activity, students identify cultural differences in picture books about children from Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and minority groups in North America. They examine the words in the books to compare and contrast cultural elements before creating a presentation to share with the class.
