Eighth graders create a digital poem using PowerPoint, Audacity.com, and www.freeplaymusic.com. In this digital poem lesson, 8th graders write and edit original poems. Students utilize figurative language and imagery in poems and review the different features of PowerPoint. Students apply transitions, insert sounds and music, and create the digital poem using the format. Students assemble photo collage representing the images in their poems.
