This fourth unit of a course on Art Appreciation looks at different forms of two-dimensional art. Students learn about the invention of paper, early perceptions of drawing, how hatching and cross-hatching were used by Michelangelo, different drawing materials, and perspective. They look at tools used in painting and learn about techniques used to create different effects. They also learn about printmaking. Includes narrated slideshow tutorials.
