Students explore modes for addition.  In this K-2 mathematics lesson, students investigate the four models of addition (counting, sets, number line, and balanced equations) using dominoes.  Students examine the relationship between addition and subtraction, the result of adding zero, and the order property.  Students write story problems in which addition is required.
