Double-letter Word Fluency

First graders build fluency. In this word recognition lesson, 1st graders practice saying words that have a double-letter combination in them (e.g. pull). They work in a small group or as a class to take turns identifying word cards their teacher presents to them. This lesson includes a link to a list of words to be used for this activity.
