Being able to identify and understand the point of view of fictional characters across a wide range of time periods, places, and cultures is a skill that is necessary for becoming a proficient reader. It is also a skill identified in the Common Core standards for reading fiction. This resource provides practice and assessment of your pupils' ability to perform just this skill. Like other resources from this series, there are two suggested practice activities followed by two multiple-choice tests. All of the included activities encourage young readers to dissect reading passages and identify evidence in an effort to better understand the point of view of its characters.
