Instructional Ideas
- Grab a time in the computer lab for your class to practice with the online version; they can get out all their questions about navigating an online environment before the actual test
- Take some time to teach your class test-taking strategies and to go over the questions and answers together
Classroom Considerations
- Some of the questions are not multiple choice in the online version, but rather click and/or drag and drop style
- Depending on your printing capabilities, it may prove difficult to print the large-print exam provided in the materials
- After finishing the online version, students can view their scores (not the answers) and print to share with a teacher
Pros
- Includes an online version of the test as well as answer keys and other materials
- The answer keys pair questions with specific Common Core standards, so you can analyze the data and create some targeted instruction for specific standards that your students struggle with
Cons
- None
