This instructional activity is meant to be used in laboratory experiments for which there is an accepted value that pupils are attempting to discover. It asks them to compare their results to commonly accepted values and then to calculate the percent error. It also gives them a chance to explain the possible causes for deviation. You may want to keep copies of this instructional activity available for groups that finish more quickly than others.
