Curated by ACT

This school is located in the area of the Mamluk cemetery, on the right hand side of the road from the area of Al-Sayeda Aisha, going towards Heliopolis along the Avenue of Salah Salem. The building complex, which was constructed by Prince Qurqumas, the head of the army at the time of Sultan Al-Ghawri, contained a school, a mausoleum, a sabil (public fountain) and a kuttab (primary school).
