Eternal Egypt: Stela of Iniwy

Curated by ACT

This funerary stela belonged to the soldier, Iniwy, who lived during the New Kingdom. It is divided into three registers; in the first one, the owner of the stela and his son are presenting offerings to Osiris and his consort Isis. The middle register is divided in two parts; to the right, the son acts as a semi-priest and to the left, is a similar scene, but with the daughter. In the lower register, some members of Iniwy's family are depicted.
