Tenth graders investigate the volume of a cylinder.  In this geometry instructional activity, 10th graders create three-dimensional cylinders and use a ruler to determine the dimensions.  The instructional activity progresses to the use of the formula to find the volume and allows students to analyze how changing the radius and height of a cylinder affect this volume.
