Students and teachers share their individual concept of families to begin the instructional activity. As they read different pieces of literature, they keep a journal of the activities and problems each main character gets into. To end the instructional activity, they identify any parallels in the novel which resembles their own life about how they annoy their parents or how they annoy them.
