Students identify features and characteristics of a farm. Students recall events from the book, Tanya's Reunion. Students visit a local farm. Students sing the song Old MacDonald had a Farm and Farmer in the Dell while on the way to the farm. After the field trip, students come back and get back into their small groups to either redraw their picture of their farm or they can add to it. Students then draw one thing they learned at the farm and share with the class.
