This lesson focuse on Edward Taylor and his poem "Huswifery." Unlike most Colonial literature, Taylor used poetry as a medium to praise God as shown in the poem "Huswifery." Students are asked to read the poem and look for examples of the literary techniques conceit and apostrophe.
