Sixth graders discuss WWII in their classroom. They take a field trip to the National Museum of the Pacific War. Each section of the museum has a comprehension question to go along with it. The Bougainville Campaign Exhibit asks students about the tent set up, and the ability of the men to adapt to the environment. The Coastwatchers and Mosquito Fleet Exhibit students discuss the features that needed to be built for the PT boats.
