A very detailed account of FDR's involvement in Georgia, in particular, his role in the establishment of a medical foundation at Warm Springs, Georgia. FDR actually bought the property and used the warm waters to try to help with his "Infantile paralysis," (Polio) of his legs. FDR would visit Warm Springs for many visits and die there in 1945. There is even a rare photo of FDR in 1924 with his withered legs.
