In this instructional activity students will explore the use of pictures and maps to represent physical spaces. We will explore the concepts of scale and conversions between pictures, maps and real-world units. Conversions between kilometers and miles, meters and feet and meters to centimeters and kilometers will also be practiced within the context of the learning experience
