Looking for Common Core math center ideas for your Kindergartners? This a great one that is easy to set up, change up, and can be individualized to the learning level of each child. Start with a collection of zippered plastic bags and fill them with various objects to count with the value between 1 and 10, or 1 and 20, depending on your learners' counting abilities. Mix up the size of the objects in the plastic bags. Each child will count the contents and write the number on a sticky note and place it on the bag. Or you can provide sticky notes with the number quantities already written on them, and then learners can choose the correct number and place the note on the bag. Simple, fun, and a good way to practice counting and writing numbers.
