In this greatest common factor instructional activity, students review the different ways to find the greatest common factor for numbers including listing all the factors and finding prime factorization with factor trees. Students then list the factors for each number and find the GCF in the first set. In the second set, students write the prime factorization of each number and find the GCF of the numbers.
