Young scholars complete multi-curricular activities in a Halloween themed lesson plan. In this Halloween lesson plan, students examine newspaper ads to find prices of pumpkins and use them to complete a stem and leaf plot. Young scholars find the diameter, circumference, and other data for the pumpkins. Students use balance scales and gram stackers to weigh pumpkins and then graph the data. Young scholars also construct a pictograph using Halloween candy as the data.
